Perfect story to cuddle up to in bed for the night.

This book can be read as a standalone novel. If reading through a series, this is book #1 for Sexy SEAL's, #6.4 for Uniformly Hot SEALs. I always recommend reading in order for further understanding and enjoyment. Sam & Bryanna want a future together. They have made promises to one another, but Sam has also made another promise. They must find common ground to see if it can work. Short story but the feelings are conveyed well. You can tell these are young kids in love and it makes for a quick read. This is a sexy, but just short & sweet story that made me feel good. I loved the characters and rooted for them from the start. ***This copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. As a newbie to Tawny Weber, I can honestly say I'll definitely read more of her SEAL novels. While this was a novella, it still caught my attention and didn't drag on forever while the main characters, Sam and Bryanna, decided what they wanted. I loved that there wasn't the endless chapters of back and forth! They decided what they wanted and eventually went after it. Bryanna was raised in a military family and knew all about the sacrifices a woman would have to make to become a military wife. She also knew that Sam, the youngest of the Cadet Club, had made a pact when he was sixteen to become a SEAL at all costs--including having no attachments that would distract him from achieving his goal. With Sam passing the third phase of SEAL training, first in his class, his future is looking great! He comes home to celebrate with Bryanna. In the meantime, Bryanna thinks she can convince Sam to give up his dreams of becoming a SEAL if she becomes someone he can't live without. Bryanna transforms herself into what she thinks Sam will like and not be able to live without. Bryanna doesn't really want Sam to give up his goal of becoming a SEAL, she just doesn't want to lose him. While Sam likes her sexy ways, he knows something's up. He has a night out with Eli, Bryanna's older SEAL brother and member of the Cadet Club. Eli reminds Sam of their pact and things soon go South between Sam and Bryanna.... So as not to ruin the rest of the story, I'll just say it does end with a HEA and NO cliffhanger! This is a sweet, SEAL romance that I highly recommend!
