Description

A woman possesses the power to inflame the most dangerous passions of all in this Sisters of the Heart novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan.

On the shores of Sea Haven, six women touched by great loss have come together in a sisterhood strengthened by the elements—a bond each will need as new love and danger enter their lives...

Flame-haired Lissa Piner is a skilled glass blower whose delicate gift conceals a burning inner strength that can destroy as exquisitely as it can create. Commissioned to design chandeliers for a string of luxury hotels, her remarkable skills have taken her to Italy. But Lissa’s real mission there is a secret. For her entire life has been a lie, leading to a chance to avenge a terrible wrong.

Enlisted as her bodyguard is Casmir Prakenskii, a trained assassin living off the grid. In Lissa, he sees a kindred spirit—something unexpected and wicked, mysterious and sensual. But more than desire is about to bring them together: because both of their pasts cry out for revenge. And for two people with this many secrets, this much passion, and this many enemies, someone is bound to get burned.

I love all of your Sisters of the Heart Books. I enjoy all of your series and wait for eagerly for all of your books to come out. To those reviews claiming too much sex is in your books they can by Harlequin Books instead. I am looking forward right now for the next Torpedo Ink book!

I had been looking forward to this book in the series. I don't even think it's written by the same author. All sex no story, no magic, heck I barely liked the characters by the time I finished the book. I'll buy the last of the series when it is released but only because I'm the type of reader who has to know how the story ends.
  • So disappointed in Christine Feehan

Christine Feehan's writing has gone downhill with her last few books. I've loved Christine Feehan's books for years, but I will no longer be reading her. This book is dark, nasty sex. Rape, torture and trafficking are all clearly depicted in this book, and written in such a way that it is supposed to seem sexy. I know those things exist, but I don't need to read about them in books I read for pleasure. Also, if you. don't. want. to. read. your. books. like. this. avoid Christine's latest offerings. Foul language, rough, nasty disgusting sex, dark plot lines (when they exist at all, which is becoming more rare) and poor grammar are her forte recently. Even the excerpt of her upcoming book at the end of this one has the F-word more than a dozen times. No thanks, I'll move on to other authors that still have class. Re-read her earlier offerings and leave these alone.

This had a better story then the last couple of books. Still has too much nasty sexual activity. The sex is to vulgar.
