Million-Word Reading Project (MWRP) is a reading project for ESL/EFL learners at the elementary level (with a basic vocabulary of 1,500 words). In two years, for about fifteen minutes each day, an ESL/EFL learner can read one million words, and reach the upper-intermediate level, gaining a vocabulary of about 3,500 words and a large number of expressions.

[Synopsis]
This book is rewritten from “Robinson Crusoe” by the famous British writer Daniel Defoe (1660~1731).
When Robinson Crusoe was young, he wanted to become a sailor, though his parents did not like the idea. Sometimes he went to Africa, sometimes to South America, and he found the life of a sailor not at all easy.
Later, he went to Brazil, and became the owner of a farm. He took a trip to Africa in order to buy slaves for his farm. During the journey, the ship was wrecked in a storm. Crusoe was thrown upon shore, only to discover that he was the only survivor of the wreck.
That was the beginning of the 28 years of his lonely life on the island….
