So many lies

This whole series could’ve been one book. Every time they need to talk about something important they stop and have sex hide the truth but then complain about not having trust. I’m going to finish the series but I didn’t need three books. I don’t really like Harper 🤦🏾♀️

This should be one book not a three part.. what makes the length a three part is the endless, unnecessary bickering about the same things, over and over again.. relentless
a great romantic suspense

4 stars The Princess is picks up right where The Bastard (book 1) left off. This book is fast-paced and full of secrets, betrayals, and suspense. It’s not just reputations on the line anymore, but lives as well. I am still trying to determine who is the mastermind behind whatever it is that is going on at Kingston Motors, which is quite impressive since I usually figure out these types of mysteries pretty early on.
Harper and Eric continue to be strong characters who are recognizing just how much they care for one another and they are having to learn to trust each other. I like that we get to see more of the guys from Walker Security was well as Grayson. I am still not sure who all are co-conspirators in this mess - Gigi, Eric’s father, Isaac? Those 3 are the perfect villains in this trilogy. The Princess does end a cliffhanger and fortunately, the final book, The Empire will be released in a few days. I received this book for free and I voluntarily leave this review.
The Princess will leave you breathless and wanting more!

The Princess is a heart pounding ride of adrenaline fueled suspense, secrets, deception and intense emotion. When Eric and Harper’s story continues, it doesn’t slow down. Instead it refs up with the pedal to floor. Both still in danger the stakes are raised when the onslaught of danger keeps coming at them. Every page leaves you racing to read the next one! By the end, you’ll want to race into the next part of the story. Lisa’s writing is an intoxicating blend of love, lust, sincere intense need, with such depth that you can feel what the characters feel. Her descriptions are rich without overtaking the story but instead adding to the depth.

Book 2 in the Filthy Trilogy, this is not a standalone. You need to read The B*stard first and should plan to read the concluding book, The Empire which is scheduled to be published in March. Note there may be minor spoilers for book 1 in this review.
I enjoyed book 1, which gave us the start of Eric and Harper’s story, so I was looking forward to reading the next part of the trilogy. Eric did disappoint a bit at the end of the first book, but he quickly managed to redeem himself here. As usual with this author, both Eric and Harper are interesting characters with tons of off the charts chemistry and the story has great mystery and suspense elements. There’s some nice support from secondary characters that readers of The Dirty Rich series will be familiar with (while you don’t need to have read that series to enjoy their appearances here, it’s a touch series fans will appreciate).
I was pretty much just along for the ride in this one, as the story pulled me in and kept me engaged and I didn’t have a clue where we were going to end up. I did have one moment near the end where the story dragged a bit for me as Eric and Harper used the excuse of their chemistry to avoid talking AGAIN. I typically enjoy the way this author handles bedroom scenes—lots of heat and just the right amount of detail—but knowing another cliffhanger was coming had me skimming that last scene to get back to the plot, and the ending didn’t quite have the impact I expected.
While I didn’t like this one quite as much as the first book, with plenty of both heat and suspense, this was still an entertaining read for me. 4.5 stars

Intriguing Puzzle

Wow the intrigue just keeps going to the very end. The Princess begins right where The Bastard left off. As Eric & Harper take off for New York they try to uncover the secrets that have now become deadly. Even with the help of Walker Security, each lead seems to bring a different possibility or suspect. But through it all Eric & Harper find a way to shed all their doubts and distrusts of one another and really embrace the love and passion they feel.
When Eric is caught again in a compromising situation with his father, everyone quickly rallies to help especially Grayson. Eric wants to distance himself from Bennett Enterprises to avoid bad press but Grayson won't abandon his brother at a time in need. It's when Harper accidentally overhears Eric & Grayson's conversation that brings the startling cliffhanger.
The Princess is exciting, ominous, and definitely will keep you guessing I'm so happy that The Empire will be here in just over a month to give us all the answers to this intriguing puzzle.

Wow!!! Everything is not what it seems. Full of lies, fear, secrets, evil, and revenge. Danger is everywhere they turn, everywhere they run. Who can they trust? With so much evil in a family, is anyone safe?
Harper and Eric are together again, but the level of desperation and intensity in their relationship, ignite more than their passion. They have the power to hurt each other with all the secrets they have from one another. But their erotic heat will steal your breath and send tingles down your spine. As they consume each other, with their hunger, torment and possessiveness in every caress, kiss and sexual intimacy. They have lost so much already, will they lose even more?
Lisa Renee Jones knows how to bring it and I could Not Stop Reading. Unputdownable! Who is behind all of this and will they be able to get out of this alive and together? You have got to read this! I LOVED IT!!!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Loved it!
