Description

Danger inspires fierce passion when a serial killer threatens Chicago’s Ferraro crime family in this novel in Christine Feehan’s New York Times bestselling series.

Vittorio Ferraro is a man whose family loyalty knows no bounds. He would die for his siblings and the people they love, but what he really wants is to start a family of his own. Deep down, Vittorio has always known finding a woman who could ride shadows would be nearly impossible—let alone one who could accept his particular needs—and he never expected to find her in the middle of a kidnapping.…

Grace Murphy has always been drawn to Vittorio Ferraro—or at least to the billionaire’s public bad-boy persona. Now that she’s under his protection and the sole focus of his intense caring, she can’t help wanting to get as close to him as possible. But Grace knows her presence is putting the entire Ferraro family in danger. Her monster of a brother will never let her go, but Vittorio has no intention of losing the woman whose shadow matches his own.

Praise for Shadow Keeper

“Shadow Keeper is, in a word, a keeper! If you love hot men, sexy women, the good guys winning against the bad guys, love (both sweet and ultra steamy), and family that stands together, then this book is all that and even more.”—Fresh Fiction

  • No the brother for me

The one brother I actually disliked. Skipped lots of parts just to get to end of it and see if the next brother, and his story, is better.

I’ve liked and read every single one of her series for years! But like others I prefer romance to actual and constant descriptions of sex especially S&M - like the motorcycle series, and now this one as well. I like her storylines and the effort put in to get you from one point to the other and the interaction among the players! But then comes pages and pages and pages of words on the type of sex or the horrific explanation of why and I just roll my eyes and flip over to the REAL storyline. I know I’m probably old fashioned and I’m not looking for “vanilla” sex, but jeez there must be some point of a middle ground isn’t there?!

I read Christine Feehah because of the amazing storyline she has. Unfortunately I’m one of those who like the storyline more than the graphic sex scenes. I agree with one review that complained about the domination slant of the character’s sexual orientation. I wonder what f Christine can just retain it to just pure need and lust? After all this is a romance book as well right? Well at the end of it all I still read her books and then skip over those

Love the story line, how each couple are meant for each other. The dominant sex is a turn on. I not to fond of how they find the villain and are able to end him so fast. A little more cat and mouse would be nice. Maybe one who can get the girl and the rider has to find & save her. Looking forward to Taviono & Nicoletta’s story.

Droning on about how sexy she thought he was. I finally gave up.

Normally I enjoy Christine Feehan’s Shadow Rider series, but this book let me down. Christine seems to feel that domination of one person by another person is acceptable. I don’t. As the saying goes: You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig. I have high hopes she will do better with the next book in the series.

I preordered the book on iTunes but found it at Walmart for $6 a week before it release date so I bought it on paper back. And it is a great book.
