"Best small town romance series I've ever read and every book just gets better and better!" - Angie, Angie's Dreamy Reads

What’s a girl to do after being ditched at the altar by text message? That’s right. Text. Message.

How does she pick up the pieces and move on? I’m no Dear Abby but here’s a little free advice…

Advice #1 – First, purge your apartment of all things him—by tossing his belongings off the balcony.

Advice #2 – Do not, I repeat do not throw anything out into the hallway because you’ll injure your hot new neighbor.

Advice #3 – When said neighbor brings over Chinese Food do not let him stay and keep you company. It’s awkward when you realize he’s your boss.

Advice #4 – Accept his offer to help you with your side business but think twice before using a date to his sister’s wedding as collateral.

Advice #5 – Investigate who your mystery neighbor is. Don’t trust his word even if he’s the world’s best kisser.

If you listen to nothing else, pay attention to that last one. It’s the most important and will save you a lot of heartache.

Xo,
LOVESICK in LAKE STARLIGHT

I love the Baileys! They are such great characters! I love the dynamic between Brooklyn and Wyatt! They are rich characters. Watching try to escape their circumstances. You feel the connection and chemistry between them. I live to visit Lake Starlight through these characters. Lake Starlight reminds me a lot of Stars Hollow. I love funny characters that grace the pages! Live Dori and her posse of meddling retirees. Love the family dynamic between all the Bailey siblings and can’t wait to read more!

It was a great story !!! Not to bad on the PDA but it didn’t need it they were good all on their own . The couple was a good fit and so worth the read and arm pain of non stop reading . Thank you for continuing to be a great team of writers !!!

Every book of hers I’ve read has been enjoyable and this one was no exception. It’s easy to get hooked on her series. It’s binge watching a steaming series but in book form. And your imagination always beats the screen.

The story has potential but it just requires a better author. This book has its moments so I gave it 2 stars. It also reads like a copycat of the Lark Cove series by Devney Perry. So much so that I had to go find one and start looking at character names. I had to do my usual skimming and skipping through. SEX SCENES - yes
  • Fast paced and exciting reading

Theoretically, let’s say I was supposed to work today--but maybe I read this FANTASTIC book for 8 hours instead. This is strictly theoretical and in no way true😬

New author for me, and I loved this story. The family dynamics were wonderful, and a sweet story all around. I will definitely read this author again. There is sex but not all through the story. I honestly don’t remember any bad language.
  • Great story but…

Great story and characters but gratuitous sex scenes detracted from power of story. Needs solid editing to build tension and present fuller storyline.
