A real page turner, you can’t put it down. The ending is a tease, leaving you wanting more. I hope there’s a continuation.

I really enjoyed both books and were easy reads while at the beach.

Good book and story, but sad ending.

I’ve read about 20 of his books including Texas Ranger, but I won’t be reading any more of this series. First, I find this character to be a melancholy fellow and who likes a melancholy hero? Second, the plot is over the top to the point where it stretches credulity. Yes, it is fiction but the plot twists are exhausting. I’ll go back to Patterson but will retire the Rory Yates hero.

This does not make the Texas Rangers seem to smart. It was very difficult to finish.

I do not know what the hell the other two reviews were about, but I feel this is one of the best books I’ve ever read. It could be that I was Law Enforcement and my heart has always been in and for Texas.

Reads like a bad romance novel. Not at all what I expected from James Patterson.

The whole thing reads like a comic book, written for a kid and not very well.
