I only spent 10 minutes reading this before I had to give up, because of soooo many things. Phrases like “the whispers of the wind” make me think of feminine hygiene products, not of ways to cleanse myself of bad past relationship. Saying “real men are not attracted to women who don’t love themselves” totally ignores the fact that there is sooo much room for self improvement in relationships. And finally, including the fact that solitary confinement is used as a punishment for heinous criminals as a reason to not sit at home by yourself is ridiculous.

When I say this book changed my outlook on how I want to be going forward, it did. I no more look at myself as a victim but as a queen. I learned that I have some communication issues to work on but I do want a man that’s my equal instead of settling for less. This brought tears to my eyes at the end because I now feel so empowered.
