4 1/2 Stars!! This whole book was one wild crazy ride!! As with the last two books in this series our subject is much more serious. As a punishment for saving Swayze’s life Trick is sent to prison by a corrupt system. Trick and Swayze go through a lot to get to there HEA but when they get there it’s outstanding. Swayze was a wild child and there connection was sizzling. 12 years later there still hot and bothered. Never ask a woman that’s drinking wine straight from the bottle how she’s doing. -Life Hack SWAYZE “I’ll need that shirt back,” he rumbled. I looked at him over my shoulder and grinned. “You can have it back when you can give me another one that smells like you.” I’m loving this darker side of LLV. Bring on Hunt and Wyett.

Trick and Swayze are something else! This story started out like others in this series with a flashback of the past and then brought us to the present. When these two met Swayze was a minor. Well, she was 17. There's only four years between them. Trick goes to jail when he saves Swayze's life, but beats her father to death. I love how these two tried to avoid each other when they end up in the same town, but they're like magnets and can't be apart for long. They steam up these pages. LLV never fails to bring the action with a side of violence and it works! The Revenants do their best to halt human trafficking in their neck of the woods. This was another exciting edition in this series! Jailbait had a good happily ever after. Can't wait for the next story! 4 stars

It’s a great day when LLV releases a book. You know it going to be amazing read every time and Trick and Sawyzes’ book doesn’t disappoint! Be prepared to experience an emotional roller coaster of epic proportions. You can’t help but become invested in this couple, who have had so many struggles and outside forces working against them. Swayze is an amazing woman and so fierce. Trick has been so wronged by the system yet still manages to find his future in Swayze. Watching these two navigate every obstacle thrown at them and still manage to find their HEA is so emotional. Each book gets better and better and I can’t wait for the next one!

Absolutely loving this series! I am truly obsessed with the concept of this series – good guys who get caught in an unjust situation and are given a second chance to get their lives back. Trick and Swayze meet while she is waiting for her father at the family bar and Trick is about to get out of the military. She doesn’t have the best relationship with her father and isn’t sure why he summoned her there but he’s late and she’s had about enough, so she strikes up a conversation with Trick and it’s an instant connection with them. When they’re about to leave, Swayze’s dad shows up and drops the bomb that she’s a minor, and before he leaves, Trick hears signs of hitting and finds her father beating her up and reacts. In jail for killing her father, Trick tries to hate her but can’t seem to feel that way towards her, and when he gets out of jail over ten years later after being wrongly convicted, he ends up across the street from the one person he tries to avoid. Between both of these characters there was tons of questions and drama, and I was on the edge of my seat while I read and couldn’t get enough of the plot! This book as well as this series are so captivating, and I love that there is a bigger story across all of the books while also each of them having individual stories. I can’t wait for the next one!
