Murder of Ravens Gabriel Hawk with his hawk eyes and the knowledge he had gotten from his father and grandfather, makes him a good tracker. Thinking it was poacher he was tracking, he stop because one had been murdered. The anger rises when the horse from these poacher had been loose and prey for the wild animals. The murdered man had loose hands and a charm that worked on woman. Kind words were not spoken about him. Revenge, greed, secret bank accounts, and lies led Hawk tracking down the killer, when the pieces came together. Good plot, and enjoyed Hawk and Dog. Mouse.Trail.Ends Hawke finally found someone who was almost as skilled in the wilderness, and could even keep him from finding her, Kitree. Last minute to look for somemore wildflowers especially maybe some bluebells before they left camp. Returning to the horror of parents being murdered, and now after her. Her mother’s final words kept her alive. It was mix of who was the good guys and who was the bad, and what did they want, enough to have killed for. A cute story, showing hiw much Hawke enjoyed this outing, while trying to keep Kitree safe, and she was only ten year’s old. Rattlesnake Elk season had just opened for those who requested and bought a tag. A known poacher Siglar says he got it from the DA, and questioning the DA said he didn’t buy one this year. Looking up the paper work he did, and you can not legally give them to another person. So why would the DA of all people lie, or is there blackmail. A twist plot that became a murder of two people, Hawke goes back and forth interviewing people trying to find the link. An incident from their past set up this chain reaction that was as a snare and caught others. Good dlowing plot to the end.
