You can always count on a really great story from Stephen King.

First half was slow reading. Overall, not too bad except for the political references.

It’s been over 35 years since I started my SK journey from Pet Sematary and IT, through the Towers, and so many more to Billy Summers; it just gets better and better.
Such a great book and so easy to read.
Such a great story with a really good climax.

I preordered this book. When it came out , I procrastinated. Yes, I should have read it two years ago but I’m glad that I read it finished it this year. Billy Summers is such a great novel. It’s truly one of Stephen King’s best stories. Mind you I’ve read 17 since 2014. The first was Mr. Mercedes. Billy Summers is a hit man who decides to take on last job. That job is supposed to be easy but it’s anything but. Another character that I liked is a woman named Alice. She was brave and helpful. Also. Bucky was pretty cool. I can’t wait to read Holly. That’s coming pretty soon. I hope that Alice pops up again.
