This was one of the most surprising and delightful books I’ve read in a long time. I’m sorry this is the first time I ever picked up one of her books, but it certainly won’t be my last!

Great story about friendship, brokenness, dysfunction and working through weaknesses and strengths.. for love, family and friendships.. healthy education in wine, service projects, and management..
  • Enjoyable plot but……

The plot was good and I enjoyed that but didn’t care for some of the coarse language and graphic sex scenes. It would have been better without it. If that’s the authors style I guess I’ll move on.

Horrible! What happened to this writer? Sex toys? What happened to a good solid story? I would ask for my money back if I could!

It was almost 20 years ago (two decades!!!) that I found a few used Susan Mallery books and I have been hooked ever since. Susan is amazing at bringing you completely into the story and lives of her characters. I can always picture the characters and can usually relate to at least one, if not more. Bree was that character for me in this book. Due to past hurt she refuses to let anyone get close to her. She is so afraid of hurt she has turned off most of her emotions until she meets Harding. I can relate to her as it is very hard for me to let people in. To trust them. And give myself to them! This is a great summer (or really any time) read! You’ll love following along with the three main characters as they all navigate new areas in their lives!
