Four and a half stars Karen Booth’s How to Fake a Wedding Date is the third and last in her Little Black Book trilogy, and is Alex and Ryder story. Alexandra Gold is a wedding planner trying to hold her head up high in the wake of calling off her own high-profile nuptials. Ryder Carson is her brother’s best friend, and also the guy she’s crushed on for years. While the two of them caved to mutual attraction once, they’ve agreed not to pursue it further. Ha! When Ryder agrees to accompany Alex as her pretend date to another wedding, they’ll manage to keep their real feelings under wraps…or not! Karen Booth’s story is a terrific take on the brother’s best friend trope, and is a good close to the series, with plenty of emotion and steam!
