  • Interesting concept, GREAT READ!

    The book is literally as the title reads. The author not only explains what it means to lead with why but also it’s purpose. Very deep especially the last chapter with the story of the runner. If your at a point I life where you don’t know where to go next definitely read this.
  • Simple concept with profound implications

    What a powerful book! For those who were moved by Simon Sinek’s Ted Talk on “Start with Why,” this book is really the complete package in terms of examples and arguments that support his thesis. Finding a way to inspire those around us is the Holy Grail of leadership. So having recently found myself tasked with running a small organization, it was no surprise that this book was helpful. 5 stars for compelling me to read this book end-to-end (I don’t often make the time to read). Very excited to read Sinek’s other books.

    This book really does not have any information about leading people. It’s all about building products and is super repetitive. Like I get it bro, TiVo sucked. .
  • So repetitive I can’t finish it

    This is the most poorly written book I think I’ve ever read. He repeats the same examples, ideas, and even exact sentences over and over and over and over and over. Save your time. Listen to the TED talk.
  • Repetitive, but Foundational

    Look, this book is repetitive. It feels like Simon repeats the same phrase in every section of the book. However, this book made me reflect on the way that I approach my daily life. In business, in leadership, and in relationship building. And I believe that the repetition brings me back to remember why I even picked up the book in the first place. To find the inspiration to think differently. This book did that for me.
  • Terrible writing

    This book starts with sentences whose logic doubles back on itself. It continues with raising points which have no conclusion. Of course, the author tops it all off with the writing style and prose of a three year old. Save your money.
  • A bit Repetitive

    We get it: WHY is important. It was repeated over & over with supporting evidence then abruptly drops you off the Cliff of What Now? Some practical advise & strategy on identifying our core “why” would be useful. I was left hanging, wanting assistance or guidance on my journey down the discovery path.

    The book has some good points and i agree with what is said, but it keeps repeating it again and again and it gets boring. You just basically keep reading about Apple’s and Southwest’s WHY and how Dell and HP have lost their’s. The author keeps telling us how companies have lost their WHY’s, but i think he forgot his too.
