I honestly haven’t sat to read a book in quite sometime. I am glad this was my first reintroduction to reading again. This was by far the best experience I’ve had in a long time. I love how the author conveyed his message which helped me to visualize and own pieces of the context. I felt as if I was sitting with my therapist while reading this book. I’m off on the journey to my genius zone and I am no longer allowing my ULP to hinder my opportunity for success and greatness. I will definitely reread this one again. Thank you!

It’s a fun read with lovely mind hacks about how life tends to have a rhythm of good and bad happenings, speaks about time, harvesting unique traits within yourself, sadly there is a lot of fluff in the stories related to the concepts felt like I was dumb because I couldn’t connect how a story slash example would connect to the title of the chapter then 5 or so years later I gave it another read and my intuition is the author just copy and pasted these lengthy stories as examples to show his own experiences and general realness. There are major gaps in the points and literal gaps in a fill in the blank style, my 25 year old version of myself gave it a 5 my 30 year old version gives it a exact 3.

I really enjoyed the Big Leap! It’s a quick read and very inspirational. It’s perfect for individuals who already have a sense of motivation to live the life of their dreams, but want to rid themselves of the mental blockers that are stopping them from their full potential.

I’m sure it’s fine but the fact that I’m required to read it for my construction materials class makes me dislike it. I’m sorry to this author but I don’t like you. And to my teacher, ma’am, this is a class about wood, steel, concrete, etc, not a self help class. If/when I need help, I have a therapist for that. My teacher gets 1 but so does this book because of her. Edit: this book is actually not good. It’s average at best.

This book packs a punch, in very simple terms anyone can understand. Even though its author is a psychiatrist, his advice evokes a spirit of manifesting a la the secret, while offering practical advice to release some of those demons we all carry that prevent us from trying to live our dreams. Highly recommend.

This book was life transforming for me. I discovered I had a lot of emotional baggage to work through and I have made a lot of progress. It also helped me understand my husband better. I have taken what Gay says to heart. He also has four you tube videos that are must listen to while you are reading this book. You have to be ready emotionally because you have to dig deep into your past. Hope this helps you as it did me.
