Description

For Each, There Could Be Only One: They came from the darkest places: secluded monasteries, the Carpathian mountains, galaxies under siege. They were men with the blackest pasts-warriors, vampire monks, leaders of armies-but whose passions burned like dying stars. They had one purpose: to find those women who fulfilled them, completed them, and made them rage with a fire both holy and profane. They sought soul mates whose touch consumed them with desire, yet whose kisses refreshed like the coolest rain. And each man knew that for him there was only one true love-and in finding her, he would find salvation.

I have enjoyed the previous books in this series, but this one ends in the middle! There is no resolution to all the questions and plot developments of the first few chapters. Don't waste your time or money.

This was a great (little) book. However, what made her drop the ball? There could have been a sequel or at least more. The female heroine was awesome and Feehan could have tore it up! I guess we will never know what could have been.

I loved this book and it's characters from the first moment. I was enthralled with the storyline so much so that as I read it on my iPad it ended when I was looking to the next chapter. My mouth dropped and I gasped. I normally keep and eye on how much is left in my book but the end came right in the middle of the story. I hate to criticize and say I felt jilted (because I loved the story to that point) but I did! I hope the next book picks it back up. This story was perfect. Strong woman, didn't fight the draw to the Carpathian men like ALL the others seem too. She just knew this was what she had waited for. Refreshing change of pace! I just don't know how the author thought that was the right place to stop it??? So just be advised great book that involves so people from the past book so it's important but much shorter then the rest! For that it gets a good review but a ugh too!

The book leaves too many unanswered questions ....only 171pages in comparison to the other books in the Dark series.

I was very disappointed with this story. It felt like it ended abruptly and was only 142 pages long. Felt like the plot lines were left unresolved...what's in the cave? Also way to much romance for me. I was looking more for an adventure, fantasy read
