This book shows the lengths to which certain prosecutors, judges and investigators will go to gain a conviction, and then once it becomes apparent that the initial conviction was erroneous, the lengths to which they will go to crush the appeal. This book is an excellent telling of an event that should not occur in the US judicial system, but probably occurs quite often.
