Description

One woman changes everything a man has ever known about dominance and desire in the final scintillating novel in the Breathless trilogy—now celebrating its 10th Anniversary!

When it comes to sex, Ash McIntyre has always explored his wilder side—extreme and uncompromising. He demands control. And he prefers women who want it like that. Even the women he’s shared with his best friend, Jace.

But Jace is involved with a woman he has no intention of sharing. And now even Gabe has settled into a relationship with a woman who gives him everything he needs, leaving Ash feeling restless and unfulfilled.

Then Ash meets Josie, who seems immune to his charms and his wealth. Intrigued, he begins a relentless pursuit, determined she won’t be the one who got away. He never imagined the one woman to tell him no would be the only woman who’d ever drive him to the edge of desire.

I couldn’t put it down. Read it in one 12 hour day! Great ending! Loved the references to prior books. Just all around well written.

This book was boring most of the time and the main characters irritating... Would not recommend. See how I didn’t use a pronoun..

Burn started off well but without the use of pronouns in a lot of the sentences, I could not take this book seriously. I thought this would change in the 3rd book since I irritatingly noticed this in the 2nd, but such is not the case. The first couple hundred pages weren’t so bad but it seemed that the lack of pronouns doubled as the book went on. The storyline wasn’t very interesting or different from the other two either, which was disappointing.

Wow. I really enjoyed this book. More so than the second one. It was very sweet and had some action. I wish it had more action, but the ending was great. I think it was a little overpriced but still a good read.
  • There's this thing called a pronoun.....

Seriously! What is with the lack of pronouns?!? It was so irritating I just started mentally added them myself! No one talks like that! This book was too similar to the last with the near death "come to Jesus" moment. What is with all books portraying fast tracked relationships that are unrealistic and always have fairytale endings? Feel bad for all the men out there in the real world as they will never live up to the standards set in these novels. 👆👆See what I did there? No pronoun just sounds ridiculous.

I read all three, weak story lines and I had to push myself to read the last one. DW

It was basically the same as "Fever". The book felt rushed just to finish the series. Rich, powerful, good looking guy finds a troubled girl and wants her to submit. I think the author just went back and changed "Jace" to "Ash" and "Bethany" to "Josie". Thought there could've been a different plot line - delve more into Ash's family troubles. Whatever - sex sells and so will this book!
  • Great book and series.

Even though I loved Ash. It's the same storyline from book two, just a different girl. This book is a waste of a read & money.
