I read this book as a child and always thought about it. I’m 23 and decided to read it again, and wow! It’s even better than I remembered. I even cried a little, it was sad but also a happy ending.

My teacher read this to me in second grade and I just found it on here. Besides “ where the red fern grows” this is my favorite! It was so exiting and every time me teacher stoped reading everyone would moan and plead for her to read more. This is such an exiting story and I think everyone who reads this will love it.
