After reading the Lords of the Underworld I looked forward to additional stories about the sexy Sent Ones... the stories in this series are just as good, inter-twined and awesome... but absolutely NO sex. What’s up?

I have read all of her other books in the Lords of the Underworld and was very disappointed by this one. Between the female twins and Koldo, it was whining and so cheesey.

This book and her last one, last kiss goodnight don't read like she even wrote them. They're entirely too preachy and there's no real chemistry between the characters. How can you have a paranormal romance without using telling what the character is doing. In The first "sex" scene they basically felt each other up and then had "an intense wave of bliss". She doesn't even tell what parts of the body were touched. It basically reads like the female touched the males arm and he came without using that word. Aside from the sex the two characters didn't seem to be as evenly matched as normal for a showalter book. Koldo seemed very much older almost like her father than her lover. It wasn't until the end that she stood on her own two feet. And if I ever read the word 'dived' again in my life it will be too soon. I hate giving gena showalter less than 5 stars but I have to here. Please gena, don't do this to Kane's story.
