This book is really about girl power, girl bosses and that sometimes dreams change and that's okay to find a new path to follow. I absolutely adored this romance, and I loved Sutton so much. She was a huge inspiration. This story is a stand-alone in the series, but it also features lots of different characters that if you have read this authors books you will see in this book. It was really great seeing those characters interact with Cam and Sutton throughout this book. This is a second chance romance between Cam and Sutton. They met in college and fell hard for each other. They were together for 3 years but when Cam goes pro and he moves to Florida they break up. They have been on a break for 18 months until this book begins. She plays professional hockey on a Women's team as goalie in New York. She is paid so little that she lives with several other people and has to waitress on the side to make ends meet. Everything is great until she gets injured... Meanwhile Cam is loving his team and life in Florida until he is in NYC to play some games and he sees Sutton is hurt. He rushes to her side to make sure she is okay, and that's how these two end up reconnecting. This was a really fun story and I loved watching Sutton follow her dreams even as sometimes you have to grow up and face the realities and maybe change your dreams to be happy. In this story Camden was her hero and I loved how awesome he was. No matter what he is always there for Sutton, and I love how open and welcoming he was in bringing her into his life. This was such an inspiring book, and I was totally cheering Sutton on during this book.
