Douglas Preston as a solo writer is great.

Good idea for a plot but not enough character development.

The writing seems childish and lazy. One line actually reads “The mammoth took a dump”.

One detail not sure about, in the end what happened to the de-extincted animals.

The actual science used throughout the novel was compelling. Leaves you thinking, and somewhat chilled about what lies in store…

Very engrossing with page turner ending, and makes one think about what could really happen.

An engrossing murder mystery that takes place in the a fictional, Jurassic Park- like world.. couldn’t put down and finished in just a few days.

Loved this book. Many factual points. We are not alone in our small world and the powers that be need to get a grip and come to understand exactly what they are doing. It’s not child’s play ! Thank you for the insight. Jean Maza Louisiana
