This United States Army manual, Department of the Army Pamphlet DA PAM 750-3 Guide to Field Maintenance Operations April 2023, provides a single go-to reference for applying the fundamental maintenance approach to field maintenance operations. This pamphlet serves as an aid for maintenance leaders in understanding the field maintenance structure, programs, and processes they are responsible for; the role of maintenance personnel; fundamentals required to be successful; and the technical aspects of being a maintainer. These procedures are applicable to any field maintenance operation, regardless of the density of equipment or whether field maintenance support is organic, direct support, attached from a forward support company (FSC), or is received on an area support basis at echelons above brigade (EAB) level.
