Description

Two worlds. One love. No compromise.

Professional rodeo cowboy Rye Calhoun has been the primary breadwinner for his family since he was seventeen. Now thirty, there’s still no time for romance, and there certainly isn’t room for beautiful Texan Ansley Campbell, an artist with big dreams…dreams that don’t align with his.

When Ansley Campbell’s ailing uncle needs someone to help him at Cold Canyon Ranch in Paradise Valley, Ansley volunteers, eager for some breathing space from her family of overbearing men.  But when her uncle Clyde has an accident the weekend of the Copper Mountain Rodeo, handsome cowboy Rye Calhoun is there to help.

From the moment Rye and Ansley meet, their chemistry sizzles, but their worlds are nothing alike and neither of them is in a position to compromise. Is love really enough, or are they asking to have their hearts broken?

I loved this book so much!!! Ansley and Rye are great together, but they have to find a way to make their lives work together. They meet over the 85th Copper Mountain Rodeo weekend and don’t want to leave one another when Sunday night comes around. Well, when your heart is in control, life has a way of making the impossible become more doable. This book is full of family, friends, love, and lots of rooting for the sweet couple! I am looking forward to reading more about this family in the future!!!

Take Me Please, Cowboy by Jane Porter is a heartwarming read. Cowboy’s are not my favorite hero, however this book has changed my mind. I love Rye who is a self sacrificing hero who always puts family first. Ansley is on a journey to find herself and her voice in a loving but over protective family. Though they come from two different backgrounds, can they find their way to each other? This story will have you rooting for them. Read the book and you won’t be disappointed.

Ansley is in Marietta caring for her uncle and meets Rye at the rodeo. They come from vastly different backgrounds and have vastly different futures in mind but have that instant spark. They struggle trying to find a way to marry their differences and stay together. Marietta is a magical town and I love any opportunity to spend a few hours here! Looking forward to reading more about these families.

Take me please, cowboy ByJane Porter Comes out September 5, 2023 WOW!! Another great book by a Jane Porter! I wish I could give it more than five stars. I laughed, and I cried for me. That is the best sign of a good book. Ansley Campbell is trying to make her way as an artist. She lives with her parents and her five brothers and she’s not only the only girl in the family she’s the youngest. She feels in order to spread her wings a little bit she needs to get away from her family. so she comes to Marietta,Montana to care for her ailing uncle. She meets : Rye Calhoun a rodeo, cowboy, and a construction roofer. Ry is a Uber responsible family man! He carries the weight of his parents to sisters and disabled brother. Even though he can’t get Ansley out of his mind, does he have time for her? She comes from money. He feels he has nothing to offer her. They both have a very strong attraction to each other. You definitely do not want to miss this relationship unfold. This is book one of the 85th copper mountain rodeo series. Book 2 Tempt me please, cowboy by Meghan Crane comes out September 12 BOOK 3 Marry me please, cowboy by Sinclair Jane comes out September 19 Book 4 promise me please cowboy by CJ Carmichael comes out September 26 However, these books can be read as standalone’s. They all take place in the town of Marietta Montana. I highly recommend this book along with the other three. This is my honest review.

Take Me Please, Cowboy took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride that I wanted to stay on longer. Ansley and Rye's upbringing couldn't have been more different. Yet they both want to do for others Ansley with her uncle and Rye with his whole family. There are so many obstacles for Ansley and Rye that I kept thinking this will never work followed by they have to work which made me love the book even more. This was a wonderful beginning to another great series I'm looking forward to from Jane Porter.

Jane Porter has written another phenomenal book. Love is true at first site, at least for Rye and Ansley. While one is way to the 85th Cooper Mountain Rodeo, he spots Ansley and and automatically becomes fascinated. After disruptions, family dedication and misunderstandings, love truly conquers all. What another winner from an amazing author.

Another excellent read by Jane Porter. Rye Calhoun and Ansley Campbell meet over a 3 day weekend when her uncle ends up in the hospital and Rue who is in Marietta to take part in the Cooper Mountain Rodeo helps her with her uncle. Sparks immediately fly between the two. They decide to enjoy the weekend because he can’t make any commitments due to family obligations and she is not looking to be in a relationship. The best laid plans can go awry and they know that they don’t want to lose touch after the weekend is over but will they be able to? There are a lot of obstacles in their way. A definite must read to see where this road takes them.

The title grabs your attention, but the characters Rye and Ansley will grab your heart. They had difficulties to overcome but their love won in the end. I very much enjoyed this book and had a difficult time putting it down .Jane Porters gift of making characters come so alive shines bright once again in Take Me Please Cowboy . This book is part of the 85th Copper Mountain Rodeo series and is a must read .

An absolutely lovely story. I loved Ansley, who has felt a bit stifled and out of place in her family but now gets to branch out and explore her self and her own creativity. She was so lovely!! Rye was SUCH a man! Lovely, hardworking, dedicated to his family, stubborn, and trying to make decisions for Ansley when all he really wants is...her. Another wonderful visit to Marietta, it never disappoints!!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This is a fantastic start to another Copper Mountain Rodeo series! I have read and adored all of the prior stories. The connection between Rye and Ansley was felt right from the beginning. The banter between these two characters was so nature, fun and teasing. Rye is a 30 year old cowboy who works during the week to help his family and does the rodeo on the weekend. He doesn’t have time for romance. Work and caring for his family takes all of his time. Ansley is from Texas. She is staying with her uncle for the summer. His health is failing and she is the only one in the family with the time to stay with him. She is a very talented artist. She spends time in the barn’s loft to paint when not caring for her uncle. When the uncle is hospitalized, Ansley has time to get away from the isolated ranch. She and Rye spend some time together before the rodeo starts. Can these two come together to overcome the odds against them? She lives in Texas. She is considering make Marietta home but she hasn’t experienced a Montana winter yet. He is an overworked cowboy who lives in Montana. I just adored this story. I can’t wait for the rest in this series.
