Four and a half stars THE HUSBAND SITUATION by Naima Simone is a novella tying into her lovely Rose Bend series. Long story short? Brooklyn Hayes and Patrick King are best friends who pull off an intoxicated oops in Vegas. Of course, the reality and aftermath are a bit more complicated, and Naima Simone does her usual incredible work of bringing their hearts and families and feelings to vibrant life. While this may be a novella in length, The Husband Situation is overflowing with passion and emotion and heart.
