authors inexperience really shows in this one. not gonna lie red rising plot was full of holes but still really good. this one however was just bad. first darrow is unstoppable, until he isnt. then hes invincible again, oh wait just kidding. like its plot twists for the sake of plot twists. and mustang is just annoying tbh

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The first book was good, but the world was expanded so much in this. So much intrigue and twists.

I have re read this series about five times and each time I never get tired of it. The entire series is well written and so good you can almost visualize yourself in the book. One of my all time favorite series.

I can’t get into the next book more quickly if I tried. Amazingly captivating read with character connections that you’re rooting for.

I’m not one to read unless I’m really invested this series has had me hooked since book 1 !
