Great book, it had me laughing and crying the whole way through. I will definitely be getting the other books in the series. I absolutely loved it.

This is a great read. I almost could not put it down. The dialogue was witty and real. Montana ranch life was realistically portrayed. I am looking forward to reading more of this series.

This was my first novel by this author and although I believe the storyline interesting it felt as though the author was more or less told she need to write a storyline with 2000 pages or less. Therefore, the characters felt choppy and the story overall under developed and rush. Perhaps, this storyline would have been better suited as an series in which the story and the characters developed more. For example Book 1 could have been Maddison wedded and subsequently became ill. Book 2 resume regarding her work commitments and her symptoms and Book 3 dealt with marriage, career decisions and motherhood. Overall, I enjoyed the quick read but just would have preferred a little more.
