A satisfying finish to a YA trilogy that is both imaginative and adventuresome. Gaiman's vision is seamlessly partnered with the more structured but still thrilling storytelling abilities of Reaves, plural. There are just enough new characters to keep the storyline fresh, and Hue (my favorite) gets some substantial development. This book rambles and navel-gazes a bit in the middle, as do many YA Book Threes, but the distraction is minimal and the conclusion well worth a little patience.
