This was an amazing, informative short novel about Finn, Rey and Poe before Force Awakens. It's pretty nice to see what they were thinking before things went they way they did. I would definitely recommend this book.

Only complaint is I wish it was longer! I could read full length novels about each character. Well written! (which is more than I can say for "Aftermath" by Chuck Wendig... that piece of crap was worse than teenage poetry. A total waste of my time. F*** you, Chuck, you two-bit hack!)

I enjoyed reading this novella giving us a glimpse at the 3 new characters from Force Awakens. Finn's story reminds me of the training episodes with the Clone from the Clone Wars series. Rey's story focuses on her life on Jaku and now resourceful she is. The Po story gives his background and follows his team on a mission
