Found this in the free book section, wanted to give it a try. Absolutely loved it. Such a nice read, with surprisingly steamy moments. You’ll love the chemistry and story build between Reeve and Edward. Both have life difficulties that they are going through, but they are willing to work through their own individual traumas to get to each other.

Always a great plot and characters that feel like people I’ve known. The Journeys End series is great!
  • Cheaper than therapy, and a sweet read.

Excellent book. Full of hope. TRIGGER WARNING: from one military widow to another. Prepare your heart, especially if you’re still learning how to carry your grief with you through life. I lost my husband 16 years ago, but this book made me cry harder than I have in a long, long time. Cheaper than therapy, and a sweet read.

A nice love at first sight, whirlwind romance that explores a widow’s grief and touches on some complicated family dynamics. However, Edward be like: no pressure or timetable, but also I demand you tell me right now that you love me and would have my babies even though we’ve only known each other for roughly a week, also here’s an engagement ring. And Reeve does. The author somewhat acknowledges that this is ludicrous, but doing so while dressing it up in pretty words doesn’t change what it is. Also, while Reeve’s character development is clear, Edward’s isn’t.

I felt the wait after death I lost my husband so many years ago and still feel guilty the story line made me question my own relationship status. Very good story I won’t add any spoiler alerts.
  • Fun story

I liked how the title came about. The story was sweet and sad in places, but thank goodness for happy endings and hope for others too.

I’m sure the storyline is very good, I can’t tolerate the vulgar language, so stop reading and delete it.
