Only now she's pregnant.

Aleksei is furious when Kate arrives on the small Greek island of Naxea and tries to hide the truth for him. He takes matters into his own hands-by announcing the pregnancy to his family and asking her to marry him. Kate is Aleksei's personal assistant. She has feelings for him that only go one way. He is a bigtime player and she knows there is no future there. She decides its time to leave his employ. Aleksei will miss her. He knows the attraction goes both ways. He sees it in her eyes. They have never acted upon it due to their professional association. He cannot stop the wanting of her, though. Then the unthinkable occurs and Aleksei becomes her hero. Kate never thought he would rescue her, much less kiss her. Now what will she do? There is no future with him. Such an amazingly sweet, yet hot book! I found myself eagerly turning the pages. This is a couple I would be excited to hear about again. I look forward to the next book in Europe's Hottest Billionaire's series. ***This ARC was given by Netgalley and its publishers for an honest review.

Aleksei Aleksanou, Greek billionaire, was Kate Burrows' boss. She developed a slight crush on him and decided that it would never go anywhere because he doesn't do love or commitment. So, she quit her job and was going on a two month vacation. The day before she left he came to her apartment and they ended up in bed. Ten weeks into her vacation, she starts to put two and two together because she's sick all the time and she's very tired. When she tells Aleksei what's going on, he decides marriage is the best thing. Will she be able to change his playboy ways? Can she live her life married to someone that will never love her? Aleksei is Greek and his English is not always perfect. Kate is English and her English might be worse than his. I didn't feel much emotion from Kate until the end of the book. I also didn't like the way she allowed to Aleksei to talk to her sometimes. The whole fight with Phoenix in the hotel room and how Aleksei made it seem like it was Kate's fault, was ridiculous. I don't think he was mad enough. An ex-girlfriend sneaks into your hotel room and attacks your pregnant wife? He should have been livid!!! I think I was looking for more emotion from these characters and stronger feelings considering their circumstances. Also, the entire situation with Eleni seemed a little out of place in this story. The idea of this story line is good but the delivery could be improved. Received a copy via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed is my own.

I really loved both of these characters - they had real life issues that rang true, and they were just good people that you enjoyed cheering for. But some of the aspects of their relationship just didn't ring as true as the characters themselves did. And I never quite understand the accidental pregnancy story these days. People - use a condom - have the conversation - it just makes it that more believable. Kate is gun shy with ALL men. After a horrible experience in college where she was humiliated, she has sworn off dating completely. While I get that a little bit, you would think eventually she would find someone she couldn't resist - and maybe that time has come in the form of Aleksei and just not sooner. I loved her honesty with herself. She didn't always like what she thought, but she acknowledged it and tried to deal with it. She was a fun spirit that liked to take reasonable risks and have a good time without going crazy. Aleksei is a nut you just want to crack. He's got this super tough business persona, but we see a softer side with his family and with Kate. You just know there's something going on and when you finally find out, you'll just love him even more. His family is amazing, and I loved how we got to get to know them a bit so they weren't just names on a page. This was a fun romance, with some great characters, just the beginning concept threw me off a bit. *This book was received in exchange for an honest review*
