Fantastic book the honor and love the Lathar hold for the human females is so heartwarming . This is Cat and Tarrick’s story and the first mating marks showing on Terrick to prove there is hope for the Lathar . This is a great book and highly recommended.

Being that I’ve purchased and read every book in the series thus far, I think it’s fair to write a review with NO plot spoils (but I will say if it is or is not HEA). I made a pros and cons blurb below but for the TLDR bit: space travel Marine human woman captured by super hot alien who’s race has no women. There are multiple NSFW scenes that are steamy if you’re into that. And of course HEA (is that a spoil?) Some morally questionable kiss kiss coercion? But it’s consent cause we get the inner workings of everyone’s mind, and the girl likes it but is playing hard to get. I was a bit uncomfortable about that, but it was very obviously consensual. It’s not that kind of book. Pros: The female protagonist is no damsel In distress (strong independent woman, and all that jazz). The women aren’t super young (personal preference but I hate reading romance books about 20 year old virgins *cringe). The characters are actually likable. Big brother didn’t have to hear me screaming for any stupid decisions on this one. Very thought out alien world and workings of a society without being unnecessarily overwhelming for no reason at all. I like the slang and have caught myself calling things “Krin” at the confusion and dismay of my family. I love a good HEA and no disappointments there. It is a deal breaker for me. Lot of intimate scenes that really help character development. If you can’t tell, I am bias and love these books. Last and most important pro, XXX scenes are top tier. Smoking hot. And all the stuff that leads up to it is well placed and keeps me interested. Cons: The bad guys are pretty basic and contradictory. I guess that’s similar to real life, but very annoying. I like an interesting maybe even likable bad guy. I also am a fan of a redemption arc, so yes I am that person. However, I’m okay with a love story with no bad guys too. Also the themes of the bad guys get repetitive. The Oonat. That’s a con. No spoils so you’ll have to read to see what I’m talking about. Sometimes the characters say the same phrases in a noticeable way that makes them seem like the same person. For example how do alllll these women talk about climbing these guys like a tree. Always with the tree climbing. My biggest con is that with all this space travel, the only characters are ever only pale girls with colorful hair and eyes. Also the only obvious culture is American culture. I could easily see a Lather finding similarities in Indian culture with their hierarchy system. Or African/ indigenous cultures with their warrior braids. Or Japanese culture with their technology. A little diversity goes a long way and feels more relatable. I recommend this book. Of course I do. I’m a fan girl and proud to admit it. I love HEA and romance, and adventure, and great writing. And NSFW scenes. If you like these types of things, I feel like you’ll like this one.

Loved it!!!

Actually surprised me. The book was pretty decent. It had a much better plot Compared to some of the alien romances I’ve read. I usually find them really silly. This one was interesting and I enjoyed it.
