Description

By USA Today Bestselling author, Sybil Bartel comes this heart-pounding, Romantic Suspense series of standalone books about Former Special Forces Military Operatives! Come meet the Alpha heroes who served together in combat, but are now fighting to save the women they love!

Former Danish Military Special Forces, built like a legend, and uncompromising in every way—Neil Christensen didn't walk into my life. The Viking-sized billionaire crashed through it like a hurricane.

The moment he showed up at my strip club and gave me his piercing ice-blue stare as his deep, accented voice whispered across my flesh like sin, my life fell apart.

Now a gun was pointed at my head and ruthless criminals wanted something I didn't have—something the Viking took from me. Staring at the billionaire I didn't trust as he stood between me and a bullet, it hit me…

I wasn't afraid to die, I was terrified of weathering this man's storm. Because when a Viking decided to unleash his fury, no one would come out unscathed.

*NEIL is the second standalone book in the Uncompromising Alphas Series with a guaranteed HEA! This series does not have to be read in order.

Your books are amazing! I loved reading Neil and Ariel’s story and cannot wait to read more of your work! Thank you, also, for sharing your son Oliver with us. He must have been an extraordinary young man!

I gave a three rating, but I really enjoyed the book anyway. I’m just pissy that you wrote it in the woman’s pov instead of Neil’s! The first book was written from Talon’s pov and I was ready to experience Neil’s thoughts , I was looking forward to it since he had all these proverbs and morals I wanted to get inside his head, not to mention the series is about the man from the military, it was disappointing in that regard, but still it was ok😑

The story was good, it was a lot of back and forth, moved a little on the slow side but overall a good read. And Ariel got her happily ever after.
  • As always a pleasure to read your work

It had that usual hot steamy sexual tensions and chemistry between Viking looking Danish ex-Special Forces Neil Christensen and Ariel Madison, a strong willed and devoted single mother of a cute toddler, Conner who worked as a receptionist by day and a stripped at night. Also, I still enjoyed the occasional interaction with Luna, Talon and rookie associate, Tyler. It did have a lot of twists and shocking turn’s especially the intense relationship between Neil and Ariel. I strongly admire Ariel’s determination and dedication to raise her sweet 2 year old son Conner on her own despite of her working two jobs to make ends meet without the support of her ex-boyfriend. Also she’s not afraid to call out what’s wrong and speaks her mind without caring what other people think of her. Yeah I have mixed feelings about Neil’s story and there’s definitely an black and white issue regarding how Neil handled and the way he treated Ariel up to the end. There’s one shocking revelation in this story that I found it heartbreaking and have a great deal of sympathy for Ariel. It was difficult for me to have some kind of sympathy for Neil for keeping something from Ariel that ultimately broke her heart. It was okay read with mixed feelings.

Raw, emotional, and suspenseful all in one!!!!!!
  • Awful female character

Not sure I can finish this book. Ariella is pretty useless and dumb. For who she is described as, it makes sense but why everyone else is falling at her feet is a mystery I can’t solve. I would pass because if you like strong female characters this doesn’t come close. Bravado doesn’t equal strong and it’s disappointing.
