This book was so boring! I loved seconds to live by this author, so I wanted to read the book she’s known for and I was so disappointed! The romance is cheesy and the mystery is eh But with all that said it was a clean Christian suspense novel.

This is such a great book! I love the strong characters and the “family” ties. Family consists of the people you love and who love you and it really shows here. I know there are 2 books in this series...so far? Here’s hoping for more to come!
  • An intricately woven romantic suspense novel!

I love both of the main characters in this wonderful book. Both Tara and Cal are trying hard to keep their distance from others because of wounds that they are carrying. At the same time they are in a situation where they really need to rely on each other. I was very emotionally caught up in both of their lives present and past very quickly. The plot of the story was fantastic. We knew from the beginning who the terrorist was. It was quite a journey to locate him and figure out how to stop him from killing again. It kept me very involved and pulling for Cal and his team to sort things out. I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes next for Cal and the rest of the White Knights team. I received a free eBook copy of this novel through NetGalley. I have chosen to write this review to express my personal opinion. • SUPER SUSPENSE!!

When I read a romantic suspense novel, I want to be hooked into the story early. Sleeman manages to do this in the opening sentence of Fatal Mistake. This is the first book in her new White Knight Series. It's a thriller from beginning to end! The first sentence takes your breath away and from then on, you keep trying to get it back because with every new page and every new chapter there are more perils waiting for Tara Parrish and FBI Agent Cal Riggins. He and his fellow team members known as the White Knights are in a desperate search to find the "Lone Wolf" serial killer who is stalking Tara. She is the only person who has managed to escape an attack but he keeps coming after her and his psychological games plague both her and the team trying to protect her. This is a thrill-a-minute read & you won't want to put it down from the first page to the last! I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and NetGalley but this opinion is strictly my own and without influence.
