Sam & Carrie's story was one of the best I have read in awhile. I was afraid that Marc was going to interfere in ways that never happened. I thought he would show up sooner or later and Carrie would be disillusioned with Sam and her old life and go back with him. But as the story went along, I could feel Carrie falling in love with Sam, and him with her and in my heart I knew they would work it out. Then enters Susie. I just knew Susie would find a way to worm herself between Carrie and Sam. In spite of her love for Mick her desire to be a mother seemed to over ride every thing else in the world. Nothing seemed to matter more than her desire to be a mother, and she saw Bobby as her child. When she finally closed a deal on the house for Sam and Bobby and bought him all those expensive toys, and then the fight at school, would really seal the deal for Susie. I highly recommend this book for everybody that loves a good hot clean love story. It is excellent. To the author, I appreciate you keeping your stories "clean in language, and in the sexual realm." We get the points, without having to read it. Thank you!! Charlotte Wood
