Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow

The moment I read the title of this book I was mesmerised and a spell of curiosity was cast upon me. It only took three words, I was hooked! This book only took me 2 weeks to finish because of how interesting it was. It’s better than Harry Potter! Read it and you will not regret it is the absolute best book ever!

JESSICA TOWNSEND,IS BRILLIANT AND HAS A HUMONGOUS IMAGINATION!!!!! I recommend 100% you won’t be let down if you like JK Rowling’s HP which I personally love,this is the book for you!!!Why is this book so amazing?? 1.I like how Ms.Townsend makes Morrigan’s life a bit sad like how Rowling makes Harry’s life extra sad, I find myself feeling even more bad for Morrigan then Harry because she has a father who hates her, a very cruel stepmother and a savage but yet sweet grandmother all three of whom ignore Morrigan and are NEVER EVER nice to her and blame her for all there misfortunes which I find very cruel!!! 2.I love Nevermoor even more than I love hogwarts,Nevermoor is were Morrigan is taken on her 11th birthday to be saved from the hunt of smoke and shadow,she gets saved by her patron Jupiter North. 3. Townsend gives her readers just what they crave. I was wondering what was happening back in Jackalfacks when Morrigan and Jupiter take the gossamer line back to Morrigan’s home,we get to see Morrigan’s twin brothers (No clue what there names are, Townsend never said what they were named but i don’t mind much!)we also see Morrigan’s dad who I expected to be sad but seemed extra happy which shocked me like dude your daughter just died!!We see Ivy Morrigan’s stepmother who I didn’t think would be sad and she wasn’t,but Morrigan’s grandmother seemed to be a bit sad or more lonely.With lots of plot twists and a magical world I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

It’s a brilliant adventure that keeps you so hooked. The sequel gets a bit dark and I do think the first book is better, but I need the third book to get released!

This book was incredible I could write my own book about all the things this book did right all the amazing characters and wonderfully creative and imaginative world Jessica Townsend has made and all the twists and turns the book and right now I’m waiting for the 3rd installment. the book was incredible and I would defined recommend it to any reader young or old

Dear Whoever You Are, If you’re reading this either A, you’ve already read this amazing book and want to see what others think about it, or B, want to see if it’s the right book for you. Let me start by saying this is a wonderful, fast paced adventure, that really has you rooting for Morrigan until the end. The story is about a young girl named Morrigan Crow who is cursed. Everyone blames her for pretty much everything. Every day, Morrigan has to send apology letters to people for things she’s never done. Morrigan knows it isn’t right, and despises writing these letters, but she doesn’t have a choice. She can’t even wish someone good luck. However, there’s one thing the people aren’t mistaken about: she is destined to die at midnight, on her 11th birthday. Her father isn’t any help either; as far as he’s concerned, she’s already dead. Her step mother isn’t a very nice lady either. The only person who ever really felt for Morrigan was her grandmother, whom stands up for Morrigan at times, but this doesn’t mean she’s a sweet grandmother, nor does she disagree with all those apology letters. On the day of her birthday, at midnight, something a bit crazy happens. Dark shadows appear, but she’s saved, and taken to a crazy place that she has to be told the name of. What IS going on? Anyway, now that you know what this amazing book (in my opinion) is about, is it the right book for YOU? Well, honestly, i’d say it’s a great book for all ages, and as you should have guessed, there is no romance, so don’t go complaining. However, if you’re a fan of Harry Potter, or any other series with varied characters, and a whole lot of magic, this is the book for you. All in all, 5 stars. Wonderful characters, a strong story line, and lots of Wunder.
