A happy-go-lucky cowboy, a fiery veterinarian, and the mistaken identity that sparks a new romance... Caleb Chamberlain, a fun-loving cowboy at Horseshoe Home Ranch, has spent the last five years wrestling with the ghosts of his past—a devastating breakup, alcoholism, and a near-fatal accident. Now, he's finally found solace in laughter and the rhythmic simplicity of ranch life. But a chance encounter with a familiar face threatens to upheave his newfound peace. Holly Gray, fiery and driven, is back in town to gain the requisite veterinary hours for her graduate program. When she mistakes Caleb for his twin brother, Nathan—her ex-fiancé—Caleb is too intrigued to correct her immediately. Holly and Nathan's history is a tangled one, and Caleb wasn't around much when they were together. But now, he finds himself wanting to know Holly better, despite her plans to leave town in eight months. When a pneumonia outbreak in the ranch's cattle herd forces Caleb and Holly to work together, their chemistry is undeniable. But Holly still holds a grudge against the woman she believes was the cause of her breakup with Nathan. As she and Caleb grow closer, she must discern whether her feelings for him are genuine or simply remnants of her love for Nathan. Can they navigate the shadows of the past to find their happily-ever-after? Over The Moon is the story of Caleb, the second on command at Horseshoe Home Ranch, and Holly the vet intern. Holly was engaged to Caleb's twin, Nathan, and it ended badly some years ago. She hasn't really dated since then and still hasn't forgiven him. Caleb being a twin confuses her as to her feelings for him. Caleb has always lived in Nathan's shadow and the fact that his last girlfriend walked off from him has only complicated his insecurities. Leaning to wait, listen and trust God runs throughout this book. Liz again brings it home.

ARC for honest review with no compensation Over the Moon is book 5 in the Gold Valley series by Liz Isaacson and what a way to continue. Caleb Chamberlain, (identical twin with Nathan) broke up with his girlfriend a number of years ago and was drowning his sorrows in the bottom of a bottle until he was involved in an accident that almost took his life but with the help of his friends and Horseshoe Home ranch this cowboy worked his way up to second in command and loves every minute of it. Deciding he is done with the ladies for good and is not looking for any relationships ever again, on this particular day he goes to town with his buddy to do shopping for the ranch and Holly Gray throws herself at him thinking he is his identical twin brother Nathan. Caleb has always felt like nobody ever saw him and always compared him to his twin but after seeing Holly is wants her to see him and be attracted to the man he is….not his brother. Holly Gray is back in Gold Valley to help at Horseshoe Home ranch as a vet tech in order to get her hours in before she can apply for graduate school. After she mistakes Caleb for Nathan her old boyfriend (who has since married and has a baby) she hopes to avoid seeing Caleb again. Little does she know that he works at the ranch and she has been assigned to work with Caleb to figure out what is wrong with the sick cattle? Can these two find a way to work together to find a cure for the sick cattle, let their attraction grow and bloom and find a way to their HEA??? Lots of banter between them, some insecurity, not letting go of the past to build on the future, but overall was a good read.

OVER THE MOON by Liz Isaacson, Elena Johnson. Gold Valley Romance book 5 Ty comes back to ranch and notice Pompeii was being riden. Holding reins too tight got her thrown right into Ty. Saying she had riden before and wanted to try, before the lesson. Looking he knew she was River, who never rode a horse by herself, only as a double. Her new employment has her working with a group of girls, for 12 weeks, learning to ride along with them. Ty mentions they have a quick turn over of countselors. A short story and looking for more about Ty and River. All of Liz stories are good, about family, love, and taking a chance. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
