Description

When her long held dream veers wildly off course, Trish Jackson must decide between the perfect wedding or the right man.

Trish Hopkins has dreamed of her wedding day for most of her life. She and her late mother cut out pictures from wedding magazines and played wedding day. The wedding dress would be perfect, the veil, flowers, venue and music. Every little detail has been mapped out ahead of time.

For years, all she needed was the right man.

Jimmy Hopkins has loved Trish from the moment he laid eyes on her. But when Trish morphs into a bridezilla who has alienated most of their friends with her relentless demands, it's time to end the madness.

If Trish won't stop all the nonsense and run away with him, there might not be a wedding at all...

This was a cute, fun novella. I really liked Jimmy, he was such a nice guy. Trisha kind of annoyed me but overall I loved them as a couple. Trisha was basically a bridezilla and all she thought about was her wedding. Jimmy thought about his marriage not just the wedding day. I am glad that they didn’t let this bump in the road derail their whole relationship and Jimmy really pulled out the stops for Trish at the end. It opened her eyes a little and she realized there was more to her relationship than just the wedding day. This was a quick read and I would recommend it.

The RIght Man , centers around Jimmy and Trish. These two are former Army who met , became friends , lovers and fell in love. But as the wedding preparations developed, Trish and Jimmy were at odds and end up breaking up. It’s a sweet story about family, compromises, and the need to communicate and be compassionate. Sometimes we literally “miss the forest for the trees”. In this case, the wedding is not the most important thing, but rather the love and the commitment of two individuals that want to spend their lives together. I usually am not a fan of novellas ,but this one gives us well developed characters and plot. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
