Description

Ambitious. Intense. Irresistible. I never wanted to fall for a man. And definitely not two men. They tear me apart until I don't know how I'll ever be whole again. Until I'm not sure I want to be. How can I choose between two halves of myself? * * * * * "Pure writing gold filled with heartmelting swoons, angst and a lovestory of the ages." - Bookgasms Book Blog "I think this book nearly broke me and I'm not even mad about it. From start to finish, the emotion in this one is intense." - Courtenay B, Goodreads reader "Skye Warren delivers a story of strength, perseverance, and the effects of a cannonball through the heart! Not at all what I expected and everything I wanted." - Di, Twisted Book Reviews

  • Fantastic but the ending…

The strife, the love, the heartache… this series is phenomenal, however the endings absolutely are horrendous. It could have used at least 3 more chapters to help it end. It left Sutton and Harpers final blowout severely lacking and would have loved some finality between Harper and Christopher. All in all, fantastic book.

I’ve read several of Skye Warren’s books now. I believe she is a very good writer, but her books left me wanting more at the end of them. I’m also not into alpha males that share their women, because an alpha male wouldn’t do that! I’m going to read one more of her series, but if its anything like this one (my least fave) I will not read any more of them!
  • Don’t bother reading

Worst book ever! If you bought this because you read the first free and wanted to see how this ended don’t bother. The story was all over the place just to get word count and knowing how it ends nothing in the middle provided any context or value. Not even sure how the story could have been salvaged with a rewrite.

The first book was fascinating. This one however is impossible to let go of. It’s heartbreaking and epic. It keeps surprising and by the way I’m in love with Sutton. It’s twisted and doesn’t end how I would like for it to but I still love it

First book was great. This one exact opposite. Too much inner voice thoughts and not enough dialogue among the three main characters. I felt cheated in the storyline.
  • I needed more....

I was disappointed with this book. One minute she loves Sutton and they’re a package deal and the next minute it’s all Christopher. I needed more backstory about Sutton and Christopher maybe to understand more of the angst that was between them aside from Harper.

This book pulled out so many of my emotions!! The dynamic between Harper and the guys, as well as the guys have with each other really made the book so freakin good!! Some crazy hot scenes that are panty-melting! Lots of tears for this book and had a hard time putting it down! I loved it!! I didn’t want it to end!
  • Love Hurts So Good!

You have to read Survival of the Richest first, because this book starts out 6 months after that book ends. To me, this book is about the evolution of love & the evolution of Harper - finding love, love hurting, losing love & rebuilding love. I felt so much for Harper in this book, & this book, as a whole, took me on a roller coaster of emotions. Without spoilers, I am happy with who Harper chose in the end. I still wish we could have gotten Christopher’s & Sutton’s POV, but this duet made me feel & took me on an intense journey that I will not forget.

This is the conclusion to Harper’s story. You have to read Survival of the Richest first. The series is brilliantly plotted. The story is compelling. The characters are complex and believable. The story is gripping and heartbreaking. I love how Skye Warren crafts flawed characters that you embrace and root for. Amazing, must read series!!
