A great read!

J.H. Croix knows how to write stories that evoke a sense of home, strong friends, with a romance that will make your heart sing! Still Go Crazy is another Stolen Hearts Valley book that really makes the whole series come together. But if you haven't read any of the other books in the series, or are reading them out of order, you'll still enjoy this book. Ms. Croix writes so well that you'll be able to read this as a standalone .... and will then want to binge read the rest of the books! What makes this book so good? Characters from the previous book play a major part of this book. Walker, Dawson, Jackson, Shay, Evie. The Lost Deer Bar is prominently featured as is the whole Stolen Hearts Valley. If you're like me, you'll look it up on the map with the hope that it exists and you can take a holiday there!. As main characters go, Grace and Boone are among my favorite. They have a history that abruptly ended when they were in college. It's years later and when Boone moves to town, Grace ignores him. That works out well until he moves into the condo next to hers. Boone is lugging around emotional baggage ... quite a bit of it. Some of the baggage was the reason why things ended with Grace but the biggest baggage is just that... Grace. This is a story about chemistry between two people who are trying to put the past behind them. If you enjoy Ms. Croix's writing, you're in for a treat. This one is a slow burn with super hot spots and a intricately woven storyline between friends that will make you happy and wish you had a posse like those in Stolen Hearts Valley. My heart ached for Grace and burned for Boone and his boneheaded behavior that lead to their painful breakup. I got that he had his reasons and was a young man dealing with a lot of heavy issues, but still pretty steamed at the way he chose to avoid being honest with Grace. Lost a bit of respect for him there. I did like the way he finally manned up after he moved back even though he waited a year before trying to mend his bridges. Grace understandably had trust issues with men. It was kind of sad that she came off a bit petty when it came to her restart relationship with Boone. Not saying I blame her at all. I was team Grace all the way, and my heart hurt with what she had to deal with. I thought she was really forgiving once she found out the truth, and I still thought Boone got off really easy for pretty much lying and ghosting "for her own good" ugh. Wasn't too fond of Boone when his ex showed up out of the blue and allowing her some private time with her while Grace was left hanging. I felt bad for Grace, Again. The bit of health drama involving Grace and Boone kind of cemented their commitment to each other, and I liked the way the author pulled them together at the end. I really love JH Croix swoon series and Still Go Crazy is a wonderful edition to the series. I truly enjoyed reading Boone and Grace’s second chance at love after being separated for years. The story was heartwarming and the romance between Boone and Grace was off the charts. I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend reading it and the Swoon series by JH Croix. Grace and Boone had been together when Boone decided to break them up and leave town. Now he back and lives right next door to him . Grace had done a good job of avoiding him until he moved in .What made it worse was her cat seem to remember Boone. . He know he has to slowly break down walls that are built against him..As they spend some time together you can see they are good for each other. This was a great read!!! It was fun and light hearted with drama, fun banter, sassiness and overall steam. I enjoyed the drama in the storyline. I thought it was an excellent quick read. It was well written and thought out. Definitely a must read!!

I love everything written by JH Croix. This book is no exception. She creates such realistic, fallible characters that you can't help but care about them. She also likes to create an ensemble supporting cast of friends for the main characters in this book, Boone and Grace. Boone and Grace were a couple in high school. Then a family emergency happened for Boone, he left town, made a couple of bad decisions, gave up Grace, regretted everything, finally came back home, now wants Grace back. Grace was devastated when Boone gave her up. She was wary, even with Boone, after he left, she did not trust men at all. Then Boone came back and he wants another chance. Grace is confused and nervous about Boone! Does she still love him? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was another heartwarming and seriously swoon-worthy addition to the series! Grace and Boone dated in high school but he broke her heart and left town. It’s been a year since he came back and now he wants a second chance with Grace. Grace and Boone had a scorching hot chemistry and were absolutely perfect together. Boone was just swoon-worthy and I instantly fell in love with him. Grace had some serious trust issues and was wary of Boone being back in her life, but he is definitely not giving up on her. There is a lot of baggage and drama in their way but in the end they managed to find their HEA. Loved the epilogue, it was super sweet and truly heartwarming.
