Description

Over 6 million copies sold around the world. The original book from Morgan Housel, the New York Times bestselling author of Same As Ever. Doing well with money isn't necessarily about what you know. It's about how you behave. And behavior is hard to teach, even to really smart people. Money – investing, personal finance, and business decisions – is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don't make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money and teaches you how to make better sense of one of life's most important topics.

It talks about the mentality more than personal finance, more specifically how many other things works that connects to each other. Along with many other financial books I’ve read, it truly provides some ascending perspectives how things works with the perception of money. A true mind opener. Thank you for letting this book facing the world. It’s truly like listening to a wise and old friend. <3

I have been CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER for 32 years and I found this book fascinating. When my kids were little, I read them The Richest Man in Babylon, this is the adult version. So much good, no nonsense, smart ideas to get people on the right track with their money. My grown-up sons will all get a copy of this book for Christmas!

I really like the principles in this book! A little bit of a slow read, but it was my first time exploring finance books. Very eye opening however. Definitely going to implement this in my day to day.

Formulaic and and great introductory read. Scratches the surface, but isn’t a great book for someone who has more than basic financial literacy.
