This is book three in the series and easily stands alone. It is a best friend who don't realize they are in love and want more until years later. It was a fast read and has very little drama and a really fun romance. We see characters from the authors other series and books, and it made it a lot of fun. This Nando and Bri's romance. They meet when they are very young. She is just a freshman in college and her father hires Nando to show her around college and instead what they find is a very deep and strong friendship. Years later they are still in the friendzone until Lang gets involved and forces her to go to help Nando and his brother try and grow Luna Harbor. This forces Nando to face his deep and real feelings for her. The author did an amazing job creating a wonderful and solid friendship and then show us how Nando feels about Bri and how she feels about him. It was a fast read and I really adored this couple. I also loved seeing previous characters from this series and other books the author has written as they got involved in Luna Harbor and interacted with Nando and Bri. I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I always enjoy friends to lovers and this one delivers with a heaping side of angst and smothering of steam. Bri and Nando met years ago and settled into the friend zone. They are each other’s support system and emotional anchors. This is important as they are together again, Bri supporting Nando and well, things are finally evolving (with lips and hands). Recommend.

These Cantus are probably going to be the death of me but what a way to go! This family and this group are something really special. They’re tight knit and nothing will get between them. This book might be my favorite in the whole series. Going back in time to the beginning of Nando and Brianna was absolute perfection. I can’t think of two characters more connected and meant for each other than these two. I can’t get enough of Luna Harbor, I’m already counting down to when I can go back!
  • Love This Friends-to-Lovers Love Story

I absolutely loved Always You by Claudia Burgoa; it is an incredible friends-to-lovers love story. It is the third book in her Luna Harbor series. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Claudia Burgoa has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller and has provided her readers with amazing characters. I love that she continues to write the books that I love to read. I love all the characters in Always You, they feel like family! My favorite part of the story is how Claudia Burgoa incorporates the name of the book into the love story with a simple statement by Nando at the end. Always You is an incredible love story, which filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and I could not put it down, and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I really enjoy how the book is told in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Always You is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in a love story, Claudia Burgoa did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Always You is a story that started as college best friends and roommates between Fernando “Nando” Cantu, self-proclaimed love expert and Brianna “Bri” Connolly, owner of By The Lake Bed-and-Breakfast, following the death of her father. Running the bed-and-breakfast is not Bri’s dream job, but it is the only way to keep her parents dream alive. Bri and Nando share a drunken moment while they are in college and have never spoken about it. Neither one wants to jeopardize their friendship by exploring something more than friends. I love that the story spans over the years of their friendship. Nando returns home to Luna Harbor to assist with the family’s businesses while his grandfather is receiving treatment for cancer. Nando purchased a house and created a bedroom for Bri, he is trying to write his next book and is suffering from writer’s block. Since Nando has returned to Luna Harbor, he and Bri have not spent much time together or seen each other. Bri wonders if this is the end of their friendship as they know it. Nando’s manager brings Bri to Luna Harbor to assist Efren with the design plans for a new inn in Luna Harbor. Bri decides to take Nando up on his offer to help her find Mr Right. Things change between them. I love when both Nando and Bri get real with their true feelings for one another. I love the emotionally charged, gut wrenching dialogue that transpires between the Nando and his father and his brother, Mane. I love how Bri and Nando disclose things to each other that they have not shared with anyone before. I love all the changes that they make in their lives to have a life with each other. I love the characters and the family dynamic in Always You, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Cantu siblings especially their teasing that made me laugh. I loved all the characters in Always You, and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved catching up with the characters in the series, it felt like a family reunion. I thoroughly enjoyed Always You, who does not love a friends-to-lovers love story? Highly recommend this incredible love story and I cannot wait to read the other books in the series.

It feels so good being back in the charming and quaint town of Luna Harbor. Always You (Luna Harbor #3) is a beautiful ride and a slow burn romance that made me immediately fall head over heels in love with Nando and Brianna. Their storyline is deep and Claudia Burgoa delivers an emotional romance with the perfect amount of entertaining humor that’s definitely worth reading. Nando and Brianna are meant to be from the start however, they’re complicated characters for different reasons. They have an envious, long term best friends relationship with an unbreakable bond. Along with undeniable romantic chemistry and unique magic between them. It’s interesting that Nando is a highly successful relationship expert yet he’s fearful of relationships. Unfortunately, Nando’s deep rooted emotional issues play a heavy role in that fear. It broke my heart to see my Nandito struggle like this. As painful as it is, it without a doubt makes for an intriguing storyline and this is what Claudia Burgoa does best. Brianna isn’t without her issues since she lost her mother at such a young age and her father never came to terms with the loss. These two are deeply entwined with each other, so much more than they know. They are good hearted people who deserve all the love and happiness. Nando and Brianna have truly captivated my heart in the best way possible. And of course, the Cantù family and Too Far From Grace band members make appearances (specifically Lang who is everything and a sneaky SOB). They never fail to bring the comedic relief, support and they are heavy contributors to making this book even more enjoyable. Always You is such an excellent addition to this highly addictive series.
  • Missing the fire in this slow burn

Friends to lovers is usually my favorite genre but this pairing just didn’t do it for me. While I definitely felt the friendship between Nando and Bri, I just didn’t feel any sparks. I thought maybe it was the slow burn of the story, but even when they finally took their heads out of their butts, the chemistry just wasn’t there for me. The Cantu brothers have made me work to connect with them, in general, so maybe I never got excited about Nando getting his story told that makes this one different? Or maybe it’s because while we see lots of familiar characters, they don’t interact with the MCs as a pair as much as in former books in the series. Their friendship was very well written, and I love their banter. But as lovers, it was a very low simmer instead of the expected wild chemical reaction I was expecting.

This is a wonderful friends to lovers journey with a slowwww burn. Fernando and Brianna have been friends for many years and will stop at nothing to help one another. Both of them have emotional baggage and abandonment issues. I feel this keeps them in the friend zone, versus admitting their feelings, out of fear of losing one another. At times you want to yell at them at them…Just tell him/her! This is a great addition to the Luna Harbor Series and I enjoyed the cameos of characters from the other books. I requested a complimentary copy and I am leaving my honest review.
