  • Too much going on that was unexplained.

The positives: They discovered who the serial killer was, although he was killed by an unknown person. It was interesting seeing into the mind of a sociopath, who was a decent and productive member of society. The negatives: I’m not sure what the purpose was of two side stories that weren’t resolved, but mentioned constantly: 1. The Sheriff’s missing sister. 2. The shady, no good ex-sheriff and the Mayor, as well as others in town. But the one thing that irritated me the most is something some authors do. They repeatedly, and I do mean repeated, have the characters use the same word or mannerism. In this case, it was “curled lips” and “he sneered”. I wish I had counted the number of times, but it was definitely overkill! I can’t remember if anyone has ever done either to me. If it continues in Book 2, I definitely won’t be buying it.

Lot of twists and turns, family drama and a few shockers. Corruption of many at the top even in small towns. Will Addy leave the FBI after returning home for her uncle’s funeral?

This was a very good book. Serial Killer, 5 maybe more Victims. The plot got thicker as I read more. Did have to put book down and walk away from it and return when I was able to continue. So much drama, so many emotions. Had me holding on , was an interesting ending. Thank you…… yes the saga continues.

Don’t think I’ve read a book with 2 characters having the same name. Tony and Tony and one Tony is also called Alfonso unless it was a mistake. Jumped all over the place at times making it difficult to follow and quite a few errors….spelling and punctuation. The story line was good so a sequel may be better
