I have listened to MANY Nicholas Sparks’ books and this one is not good at all. I am in chapter 8 and can’t wait for it to end. The characters are boring and not credible (flat to say the least). While Nicholas Sparks has been one of my favorite, go to authors in the past, I will think twice before purchasing the next one. (After reading some of the other reviews, I wonder am I even listening to the same book). I will keeping listening to the entire book because I keep hoping it will get better. So disappointed!

All his stories are so different and in such intricate detail while keeping it a love story.

This was the first Nicholas Sparks book I ever read. It all started 11 years ago when I was in 10th grade. I remember my close friend and I were trying to rock, paper, scissor to determine who would get to read it first in the library (she won of course). I waited patiently for her to finish. When it was finally my turn, it was then I knew I had just fallen in love with Nicholas Sparks. It didn’t occur to me til later that Nicholas Sparks is also the author for A Walk To Remember and The Notebook, two of the best movies I ever watched. I’ve read other romantic novels but none that can move me like Nick’s. Forever grateful for his stories and forever grateful for this one.

This book is the first in a two book series, the second book being, At First Sight. When I first started reading I was extremely unimpressed and I almost gave up on it. It took awhile to get invested, but once I was hooked I was hooked. I'm so glad that I read this book and the one following. I would definitely recommend both. They made me laugh out loud, and cry silent and uncontrollable tears. It made me really think about life and because of these two books I have a whole new appreciation of life. Do yourself a favor and read these books.

This is one of the best books made by Nicholas Sparks himself. The love between Lexie and Jeremy is just indescribable and uncontainable. This book really shows how far a person can go for love. Plus, it also shows how love can really change people, no matter their past or personality. Altogether, an amazing book that truly experiences the word "love". Keep up the good work Nicholas!
