I enjoyed it. If you’re into a lot of details he breaks down every part of life, sentencing, and political run.

Just wonderful. Every page in this book seems to have its own life as it tells the story of our struggle as human beings living in a society. Definitely breath taking.

I don’t know why it took me so long to read Long Walk to Freedom, but it was definitely worth the wait. Few individuals conjure the ethos of our time like Nelson Mandela. He embodies our hopes, fears, dreams and disappointments. While I never had the privilege to meet the man in person, it is enough to know that I lived in the same lifespan. It is a primer on how to persevere in the liberation of oppressed people everywhere - always.

I so enjoyed this book. I felt like I knew him just by reading his book. A great writer! What a life and I was moved when I finished reading the book. The horrors of apartheid in South Africa unbelievable and the fact that Mandela survived and moved the country forward - INSPIRING. Madiba, may you rest in peace and thank you!

As a white South African woman, I am appalled at your scathing attack of a man, who can only be described as a Saint. So many South Africans of all races myself included, have been subjected to the loss of loved ones, due to the violence of a country in the throes of trying to recover from Apartheid. Without Madiba and his unyielding resolve to reconcile this country of ours, what worse fate would have befallen all our citizens? At least he did this with a forgiving heart and the grace of a true gentleman. As citizens we are glad that his passing was in the company of his loved ones and that he has peacefully moved on to the heavens. RIP Madiba xxx

There is really no use to waste any thought on ignorance and cowardly acts of those who use these social media outlets to voice their stupidity for all to read. They live for the reaction, but all the while knowing that they would never be strong enough to say that face to face to a group of those who had to live it. Always remember these people are weak who hide behind a computer all day with nothing better to do. I guarantee this isn't the first or last time this loser will post something so ignorant!!! Smh.
