This is an excellent Lovecraft compilation. Lovecraft is truly a master who has influenced many modern writers and horror filmmakers. Definitely check out this ebook.

I have purchased this collection some time ago. As mentioned by the previous reviewer my dictionary did not work initially. However when I upgraded to iBooks app 1.1 some time in August 2010 the dictionary problem resolved itself. I just hold the word and select the Dictionary button, the word explanation is then shown up in the popup window.

We all love Lovecraft...but you will on occasion run into words that are fit for literary scholars and require a dictionary...unlike my other book purchases...this one wasn't formatted properly and iBook doesn't identify it as English...hence the dictionary not working. There are ways to get it to work by syncing it and editing some files if you have some technical know-how. But I shouldn't have to hack something I bought to work like it's supposed to in the first place. Other than that...index works...
