This book is one of the three books in it's series and it really starts it off with a great kick! There's action, adventure, sorrow, friendships, and suspense! It is an amazing book over all! The characters and different creatures are unique and just plain amazing! This book is just fantastic and great for those with the love of adventure and fantasy.

This book takes you on an exciting adventure and I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good book.

Eva Nine is my new hero. Tony DiTerlizzi does an fantastically ingenious job of constructing her world through what is certainly tireless research of biological, geological and technological expertise.. The accompanying imagery only enhanced my experience of the story. I thoroughly appreciate the attention to detail and genuine love crafted into this production. I am a 24 year old reader that refuses to leave behind the imaginative qualities of vivid young adult literature. What I found in Eva's story exceeded my expectations, and has left me thirsty for more of her larger than life adventure!

Just finished my second read! Love this story!

I'm ashamed. I have to confess, i purchased this book for my 5 year old son....ask me if I've read it to him. I started to read it 2 days ago just to make sure it wasn't anything I'd find inappropriate, and i haven't put it down since. I finished at 3am and am in search for book 2. Tell me there is a book 2!!!!! Amazing book, pulled me right in!!!! Going to share with with my son tonight.

This is a really great book! If you're a sci-fi fan like me, it's a must-read. Great characters, engaging plot, the works.

I am a grown man, but I'm like a kid when it comes to this story! I read it to my son every night and I feel that I'm more into it then he is LOL. This book is worth every penny!
