I was not sure I wanted to read this book after Changes. Changes broke my heart. I was angry for days. After a couple starts, I finally got into it and found it very good. Where we go from here-we will see. Anthing is possible now.

Excellent addition to the series, I’ll admit that this started out as one of my less liked books just because of the premise but I ended up really loving it!

What was Butcher thinking. Just a really bad book in what has been a decent series.

One of those rare series where the next publish date goes in my calendar. Really well written dialogue. Maybe Jim can start using his feet to type as well?

I've loved all Mr. Butcher's books including this one. Thank you.

I couldn't put this one down! Too much was riding on it. Seriously! I mean, how does this most recent book end? What becomes of the wizard I started out not thoroughly liking, but ended up a loyal fan of? I'm not a professional writer and don't know how to review a book without all kinds of spoiler alerts. Suffice it to say, if you are not yet a Harry Dresden fan, start with the first book and know that the most recent episode is immensely satisfying. I can't wait for the next one. I can only pray that Jim Butcher never gets tired of preparing the Dresden Files for our perusal.

Finished your last Dresden and all the codexes..., now what do I do? Write faster... The Maggie Dresden stories? Hopelessly hooked, Jim. Thanks for the ride. Fellow-citizen of the worlds of words.
