This book was amazing from beginning to end. Kept me on the edge of my seat and super steamy love scenes.

Details, details, editing. Can't talk about nightgown in one sentence and then talk about her wearing shorts/shirts and then back to nightgown coming off all on one page - gotta keep it consistent. Several time in this e-book I had to re-read to determine what might really be happening.
Liked the book and the plot, ready for the next one but don't rush get it right - frustrating otherwise.
Just bad...

I can't believe I paid $7.99 for this book. The best part of the book is the 1st chapter, which is the sample I read and was intrigued. Proofreading aside, the storyline is so weak, repetitive, and there is so much sex (same scenes looping it seems) that I must have skipped through 60% of the book. And I still don't know the who or the why of the plot. Seriously?
Sorry for being this harsh, but I hope this helps the author when writing future books.
It was ok

I have noticed that with this author recently, she is either being a little redundant or isn't completely on point. While I enjoyed the story, I finally had to give up some of the inconsistencies and just except that people's names changes or she tells contradictions of the plot. It would be a lot better if she would take her time and have a better proofer. If that person had read it twice in a row or if Leigh had a better outline or even a family tree it would have been a better story!

This book is 90 percent sex and 30 percent story line. There's so much sex in this book 20 percent of the sex covers the story line.

I have loved Ms.Leigh's writing it seems like forever. I was buying her books when all she had out were e-books. Ms. Leigh genera
Ly writes a fast-paced story with lots of action, suspense and sex. However this book was a bit of a disappointment. The story line is dark and complex. The characters well developed. The book is filled with Ms. Leigh's trademark suspense interspersed with sex (lots of sex). I found it a hard read because of the poor proofreading and editing; not something I would blame on the author but definitely something she should be watchful for. Although the proofing and editing were bad, it is unfortunate the story progression was slow as well. Ms. Leigh seemed to be trying to accomplish too much with one book. There were tags about corrupt cop, the problems with the female leads father, not to mention the reason for the books-the deaths of the cousins parents; which led to the ostracism of the cousins by an entire county. Sound familiar. I think introduction of the next female lead was also handled poorly. The character shows up at the site of a tragedy with no other purpose for being their other then to leave a note. Then she is not heard from until the end of the book when she manages to find herself in the middle of an attempted kidnapping. I thought that portion was thinly disguised as a reason to get the next male and female leads in the same vicinity and create a tag for the next book.
Would I recommend this book; not if it is your first Lora Leigh. But make no mistake, I have e ry intention of buying the next installment. Everyone is entitled to have a bad release once in a while.

usually lora's books keep your head in wanting for more, this one had me confused half of the time plus it felt like the story was going no where plus she just kept throwing in new characters expecting you to know who they are and what there purpose is and constantly repeating back stories was pretty annoying. plus the ending didn't really end, it felt like the book was suppose to keep going and plahp, she stopped. it was an okay read, granted i did read it faster then her other novels but it was mainly because i wanted to get through with it, and were stuck wanting to know what happens next. not cool lora!

Usually really enjoy this author but this book isn't one to reread. Hope it is the beginning to a series as the book really doesn't end. I like a conclusion in a story.
It's okay

I don't want to say it was bad but she overly explains the story that you are already reading...kind of irritating. Couldn't really get into it...hope the next one is better.
