I’ve read many other Dickens books and loved them all. But I had a hard time reading this one. I don’t know if it’s just me, or if it really is boring compared to the others.

Not in the first rank of Dickens's books, but very entertaining. It's a bit odd in that the chief villain in the book is (spoiler alert!) thwarted at nearly every turn after certain early successes, but his schemes still drive certain affecting cliff-hangers.
